Who Can Join?

Everyone!

This group is perfect for anyone who wants more socialization, interaction, and meaningful connection in their week. Whether you live alone, have a busy routine, or just enjoy good company, Let’s Talk provides a warm, friendly environment to meet new people and share stories.

Individuals with communication or cognitive conditions

Let’s Talk is specially designed for adults experiencing speech, language, or cognitive changes. This includes individuals with mild cognitive impairment, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, MS, stroke-related right hemisphere disorder, or similar conditions.

Many community groups offer social activities, but they are not designed to support people with these difficulties. This can lead to frustration, difficulty keeping up, or withdrawing from participation.

Let’s Talk is different.
It is uniquely designed and facilitated by a medical speech-language pathologist (SLP), who provides evidence-based cues and supports to ensure that participants with communication challenges can fully participate, feel successful, and remain socially connected.

Adults without diagnoses who want more social interaction

You do not need a diagnosis to join.
Please join us for opportunities to socialize, a reason to get out of the house, or a structured way to stay mentally active!
